The Department of Sociology, University of Layyah, in collaboration with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Lahore, organized an insightful seminar on Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention.

The Worthy Honorable Vice Chancellor, University of Layyah, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zubair Abubakar Inaugurate &  addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of awareness, early detection, and collective efforts to combat breast cancer.

The distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Saima Batool (MS, Nishtar-II Hospital, Multan), delivered a highly informative and interactive session, focusing on symptoms, preventive measures, and the significance of timely medical consultation.

The event was graced by Registrar UL Dr. Azhar Abbas Khan, Head of Department Dr. Umbreen Shahzad, Director ORIC UL Dr. Zeshan Hassan, along with other faculty members and students who actively participated in the seminar.

The seminar was organized by Mr. Ahmad Ali and Dr. Maria Khalid, whose dedicated efforts made this meaningful awareness event a success.
