My research focuses on developing sustainable and innovative strategies for the management of plant diseases, with particular emphasis on Nanotechnology, Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR), and the Antioxidant Defense System in exploring and improving plant responses to diseases. I am particularly interested in elucidating the physiological and biochemical mechanisms that enhance plant defense against pathogen infections. I am also actively engaged in the Biological Control of soil-borne pathogens of vegetable crops, investigating beneficial microorganisms and eco-friendly disease management approaches as alternatives to conventional chemical pesticides. My research integrates plant physiology, molecular interactions, and environmentally sustainable technologies to develop effective disease management strategies that contribute to resilient agricultural production and food security.
