Introduction

Established as Department of Botany in 2023, the department is privileged to have a strong faculty having combination of youth and well experienced teaching staff having full command on modern research techniques and academic programs. We are struggling to look after our industry with skilled manpower. University of Layyah is dedicated to raise knowledge in biological sciences. The institute is known by the research of its faculty members in different areas like Plant pathology, Tissue culture, Mycology, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Physiology, Morphology, Proteomics and Ecology. The department have a well-established research laboratory. Our degree course aligns lab, theory and field work. Our course work covers a huge variety of subjects which prepares our students for future studies, analysis and biological researches.
